Notes

This is a new version of an old song that I wrote in the 80s.

Strictly speaking, it doesn't belong in this collection.

But, one of the themes of this album is that the amazing creative ability of the human mind can solve any problem.

And, superconductivity is an example of what creative minds can do.

Lyrics

Some folks say
When you're hot you're hot
And that implies
When you're not you're not

But me
I like it cold

Colder than
The coldest place
A million miles
In outer space

That's right
I like it cold

Cause I'm a superconductor
Turn me on I can go all night
I'm a superconductor
Absolute zero feels so right
I'm a superconductor
Believe me when I say
When I get cold
My resistance goes away

Gimmie that liquid helium
Chill me to the optimum
And then
Turn on the juice

Turn me on
Make my currents flow
They'll go forever now
Don't ya know

It's wild
What I can produce

Cause I'm a superconductor
